Frequently Asked Questions
Do Extraspace have a design team or will I need to get the building designed myself?
Extraspace have a full design team including our own, in-house Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineers to ensure your building is appropriately designed for its usage.
Do I need foundations for a modular building?
Normally, yes. There are alternatives to traditional foundations depending on the ground surface where the building is being located. We use a Jackpad solution where the ground allows to speed up handover times and reduce groundworks costs.
What type of space can be provided in your modular building?
We provide offices, meeting rooms, canteens, toilet facilities, classrooms, labs and much more. We work with our clients closely to ensure they get the right solution to meet their needs.
Do you provide a full package with furniture, air-conditioning etc?
Yes, we have provided full turn-key packages on some of the largest projects in Ireland and our team and supply chain have decades of experience in this regard. We can provide air-conditioning, furniture, ventilation systems, data and much more.
How long does it take from order to handover for a modular building?
It depends on the size and fitout of the building. It can take from as little as two weeks for some of the smaller buildings we provide, up to 20 weeks for our large scale solutions (4,000 sqm +)
